AAA Northern New England is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee fleet operations within an assigned territory, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation while providing direct supervision, coaching, and support to drivers. The successful candidate will champion a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Experience in roadside assistance, fleet operations, towing or related operational environment.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience with coaching, performance management and goal setting.
• Strong knowledge of tow vehicles, fleet equipment, vehicle maintenance practices, and fleet operations.
• Familiarity with automotive systems, diagnostics, fuel injection, TPMS and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps and related tools; Experience with Workday or similar HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and readiness of fleet vehicles within the territory.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and preventive maintenance with vendors and fleet mechanics.
• Supervise and coach drivers, including training, performance management, and development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics like service levels, response times, and vehicle availability.
• Identify issues and implement process improvements for safety and efficiency.
• Develop driver schedules to ensure staffing and reduce overtime.
• Address customer and service-related concerns involving drivers and fleet operations.
• Maintain records for fleet vehicles: inspections, registrations, maintenance, repairs, compliance.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new drivers; support operational needs.
