Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead drivers assigned to a customer account, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and superior service. You will act as the customer liaison, applying Hogan policies and coaching drivers to achieve client satisfaction.

You will manage schedules, routes, and performance, addressing issues, training drivers, and driving continuous improvement in safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in trucking or transportation is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct drivers to meet client expectations and policies.
• Address driver performance issues with coaching or discipline as needed.
• Interview prospective drivers and assist in hiring decisions.
• Conduct 30- and 60-day driver performance reviews.
• Coordinate schedules and routes to maximize profitability and on-time deliveries.
• Monitor driver activity, payroll, safety, and compliance.
• Develop contingency plans for traffic, weather, or other hazards.
