Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities to meet client expectations and policies.
• Addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts driver 30- and 60-day performance reviews.
• Coaches and trains drivers on safety and customer service.
• Coordinates services to maximize profits and align with customer needs.
• Schedules drivers to locations per customer requests.
• Monitors driver performance and daily activities.
• Prepares daily work and run schedules.
• Advises drivers on traffic problems and creates contingency plans.
• Manages fleet for on-time pickup/delivery, hours of service, home time.
• Ensures safe working environment and compliance with safety laws.
• Ensures drivers are trained and understand company policies.
• Payroll accuracy and timely submission.
• Other duties as assigned.
