Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide operational leadership to drivers assigned to customer accounts. You will act as a liaison to ensure high-quality service, safe timely deliveries, and effective issue resolution, improving overall customer satisfaction.

The role involves managing a fleet, optimizing routes, and ensuring adherence to safety and company policies while driving profitability and driver retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers' activities and ensures alignment with Hogan expectations and policies.
• Addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline as needed.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day driver performance reviews.
• Coaches and trains drivers on customer service, safety, and Hogan policies.
• Coordinates services to maximize profits and meet customer needs.
• Schedules and directs drivers based on customer requests and routes.
• Monitors driver performance and daily schedules.
• Communicates traffic, weather, and hazards and creates contingency plans.
