Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead drivers assigned to a customer account, ensuring high-quality service and on-time deliveries. You will act as a customer liaison, solve issues, and optimize driver performance while adhering to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities include interviewing drivers, conducting performance reviews, coaching for service excellence, and coordinating schedules to maximize profits with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities and ensures drivers meet Hogan standards and client expectations.
• Identifies and addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes recommendations on hiring decisions.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day performance reviews for drivers.
• Coaches, trains, and reinforces drivers on safety, policies, and customer service.
• Coordinates services to customers including driver schedules to maximize profits.
• Monitors driver performance and directs routes according to client needs.
• Ensures on-time pickup and delivery and compliance with hours of service.
• Maintains safe working environment and equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance.
