Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide operational leadership for drivers on a customer account. You will act as a liaison with the client to ensure high-quality service, safe and timely deliveries, and effective issue resolution.

Responsibilities include coaching drivers, planning schedules, and maintaining compliance with safety and company policies. The role emphasizes driver performance management, routing decisions, and daily coordination to maximize client satisfaction

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
2–5 years experience in transportation/trucking.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Manages drivers’ activities and ensures they meet Hogan expectations and client needs.
Addresses performance issues through coaching and discipline as appropriate.
Interviews prospective drivers and contributes to hiring decisions.
Conducts driver 30- and 60-day performance reviews.
Trains and reinforces drivers on customer service, safety, and Hogan policies.
Coordinates services to maximize profits and meet client requests.
Plans driver schedules and directs routes to meet customer needs.
Monitors driver performance and daily activities.
Ensures on-time pickup and delivery while managing costs and hours of service compliance.
Maintains safe working environment and training for drivers.
