Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead drivers assigned to a customer account, ensuring safe and on-time deliveries while delivering high-quality service. The role acts as a liaison with customers to meet expectations and resolve issues.

You will interview drivers, coach performance, schedule runs, monitor hours of service, and coordinate with customers to control costs and maximize profitability. A strong background in transportation and Microsoft Word/Excel is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• High school diploma or GED required, associates degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers and ensures compliance with company policies and client expectations.
• Identifies and addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes hiring recommendations.
• Conducts 30- and 60-day performance reviews.
• Coaches, trains, and reinforces drivers on customer satisfaction and safety.
• Coordinates services to maximize profits and schedules runs.
• Directs drivers to locations based on customer requests and needs.
• Monitors driver performance and daily activity.
