Job summary

Hogan Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to provide operational leadership and support to drivers assigned to a customer account, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and high-quality service.

You will coach drivers on performance, safety, and customer satisfaction, manage schedules and routes, monitor daily activity, and work with customers to meet needs while maximizing efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in the transportation/trucking industry.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manages drivers’ activities and ensures drivers meet Hogan expectations and policies.
• Identifies and addresses driver performance issues through coaching and discipline.
• Interviews prospective drivers and makes recommendations on hiring decisions.
• Conducts driver 30- and 60-day performance reviews.
• Coaches, trains, and reinforces drivers on customer satisfaction, safety, and Hogan policies.
• Coordinates services provided to customers including scheduling to maximize profits.
• Monitors drivers’ performance and daily activities and plans.
• Directs drivers to locations according to customer requests and needs.
