Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to ensure seamless fleet operations, assigning the right service providers and communicating ETA to customers. The role requires proactive problem-solving and multitasking across a 24/7 environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with dispatching experience, or an advanced degree/certification with related field knowledge. Training includes flexible schedules and shift rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years of dispatching experience in breakdown/tire or related field, or 5 years alternative experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations to ensure vehicles are maintained promptly.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign nearest service provider for repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow customer requirements.
• Inform supervisor of delays or problems with ETA or repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
