Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to manage the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repair of vehicles. You will coordinate events, verify dispatch authorizations, and assign the nearest service providers while communicating ETA and resolutions with customers.

The role requires proactive problem solving, dispatching experience, and the ability to operate in a 24/7 environment. Training and schedule flexibility are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 3 years of dispatching experience in related field.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking is required.
• Degree in related discipline or industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider for repairs.
• Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
