Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support fleet operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs by dispatching the right service provider. The role requires coordinating events, obtaining approvals, and communicating ETA while covering a 24/7/365 schedule.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching experience (or 5 years in related fields) and strong multitasking abilities. Training includes varied shifts based on market needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years in dispatching for breakdown/tire or 5 years in related field possible.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assign open events and verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign nearest service provider and inform customer of ETA.
• Notify supervisor of delays or problems with repairs and service provider arrival.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
