Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a proactive Dispatch Coordinator to ensure seamless fleet operations. You will coordinate and manage logistics, assign service providers, and communicate ETAs while handling 24/7/365 scheduling and shift variations.

This role emphasizes problem solving and multitasking in a dynamic environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of dispatching experience in breakdown/tire maintenance, or an advanced certification in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance; alternative is 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree/certification in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign the nearest service provider for requested repairs.
• Inform customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
