Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support our fleet operations. You will coordinate logistics, assign service providers, and ensure timely maintenance and repairs for vehicles, with rotating 24/7 coverage.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and dispatching experience, with strong multitasking skills. Training includes a 24/7 shift environment and dynamic scheduling across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching experience (or 5 years with different combinations).
• Strong knowledge of dispatching processes and multitasking is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assess and assign open events to nearest service provider.
• Verify proper authorization before dispatch.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Report delays or repair issues to the on-duty supervisor.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
