Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to help oversee fleet service operations. You will coordinate and assign events, verify authorization, and dispatch the nearest service provider to complete repairs, while communicating ETA to customers.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years dispatching or related maintenance experience; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Schedules vary in a 24/7/365 operation, with shifts including evenings and overnights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assign open events and verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform requested repairs.
• Advise customers of estimated arrival times and follow their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
