NFI Industries in Virginia seeks a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the dedicated fleet, maximizing driver and equipment utilization while ensuring customer expectations are exceeded through dispatch operations and reporting.

The role includes day-to-day supervision of coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers; scheduling, payroll data, load tracking in TMW, and invoicing coordination. Emphasis on safety, HR practices, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1–5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities under stress.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred at select locations.
• Willingness to comply with OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and certification as needed.

Responsabilités

• Supervise coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers on a daily basis.
• Manage driver scheduling process and payroll data.
• Coordinate load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Coordinate with management on customer invoicing and reconcile carrier invoices.
• Ensure efficient use of equipment and coordinate maintenance.
• Provide daily end-of-shift reports and suggest operational improvements.
• Develop and coach staff; oversee onboarding and performance reviews.
