Job summary

NFI is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in the United States to oversee daily dispatch operations and staff, ensuring optimal driver and equipment utilization and timely reporting to customers.

The role requires experience with TMW and PeopleNet, strong leadership, and the ability to manage scheduling, payroll data, and safety compliance across shifts. A related degree or 1–5 years of supervisory background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with TMW and People Net preferred.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision to staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manages driver scheduling process and payroll data
• Coordinates load completions and data entry into TMW
• Coordinates with managers on the customer invoicing process and reconciles common carrier invoice and approvals
• Ensures that equipment is utilized in the most efficient manner
• Coordinates the maintenance of equipment with management and fleet
• Drafts and submits daily end of shift report
• Makes recommendations to management on initiatives and programs to improve operations and works on those programs
