Job summary

NFI in Ohio is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee the dedicated fleet, optimize driver and equipment utilization, and ensure timely reporting to customers and management.

The role requires supervision of coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers, with responsibility for payroll data, load coordination in TMW, and coordinating invoicing processes. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1–5 years of supervisory experience
• High School Diploma required
• Experience with TMW and People Net preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Good judgment under stress and strong MS Office skills
• Willingness to become certified in OSHA/DOT/HAZMAT as needed
• Excellent talent management and team-building skills
• Outstanding verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at select locations

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision to staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers
• Manages driver scheduling process and payroll data
• Coordinates load completions and data entry into TMW
• Coordinates with managers on customer invoicing and reconciles invoices
• Ensures equipment is utilized efficiently and coordinates maintenance
• Drafts and submits daily end-of-shift reports
• Recommends and implements operational improvements
