Job summary

Cox Enterprises’ Cox Fleet is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to optimize fleet operations and ensure timely service delivery. You’ll assign events, verify authorizations, dispatch the nearest service provider, and update customers on ETA while communicating delays to supervisors.

The role supports 24/7/365 operations with varied shifts to cover all times. We value proactive problem solvers with dispatching experience, multitasking, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of dispatching experience in breakdown/tire service, or 5 years in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching processes and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repair.
• Assess and assign open events to service providers.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign nearest and appropriate service provider for repairs.
• Advise customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or repair issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
