Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of dispatching experience in breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Preferred: degree in related discipline or industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired promptly.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign the nearest service provider to make repairs.
• Advise the customer of estimated time of arrival and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
