Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for Cox Fleet to ensure seamless fleet maintenance. You will coordinate events, assign the nearest service provider, and communicate ETAs while handling 24/7/365 coverage in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong dispatching background, multitasking ability, and proactive problem solving. Training and shift flexibility are provided as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching or related vehicle maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of dispatching processes and multitasking is required.
• An advanced degree or certification related to the field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations and ensure timely vehicle maintenance.
• Assess and assign all open events to the appropriate service provider.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events and confirm provider availability.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow their instructions for repairs.
• Notify supervisor of delays or problems with service provider ETA or repairs.
• Address problems and respond to customer inquiries as they arise.
