Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join our essential team and help maintain seamless fleet operations. You will troubleshoot events to ensure the right Service Provider is dispatched across a 24/7/365 schedule, coordinating with customers and service teams to meet ETA expectations.

The role requires proactive problem solving in the automotive sector, with a focus on timely dispatch, accurate assignments, and clear customer communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3 years of related dispatching experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Degree in a related discipline or industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained promptly.
• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to handle repairs.
• Inform the customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or issues with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
