Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, while maintaining excellent cash flow. This customer-facing role focuses on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction and invites you to grow with a dynamic, values-driven team.

You will manage multiple moderate-complexity projects from award to completion, translate customer needs into plans, and coordinate procurement and milestones with a focus on cost control and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• PM experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security).
• Strong initiative and proactive mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative environment for customers and teams.
• High adaptability and communication/presentation skills.
• Leadership orientation with coaching and mentoring capabilities.
• Solid financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Experience managing client relationships and communications.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate aspects for small to medium projects of moderate complexity from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project plans.
• Communicate project requirements clearly to the project team and ensure records are up to date.
• Act as the customer’s best service provider to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services for timely, cost-effective completion within budget.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• May oversee subcontractor selection and limited management responsibilities.
