Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will collaborate with the project team to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

You’ll supervise technicians and subcontractors, coordinate site activities, and maintain quality in line with codes and Convergint standards, while supporting growth and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus under pressure
• Strong field supervision with building automation, fire alarm, or security systems
• Self-starter with minimal supervision
• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude; able to read blueprints
• Valid driver’s license; frequent jobsite visits; minimal overnight travel
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office

• Oversee site management for timely completion within budget
• Prepare installation plan and implement job procedures
• Supervise field personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinate with project team and manage scope changes
