Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will work with the project team to ensure execution within contract scope, budget, and schedule, and to uphold Convergint’s culture of service excellence.

You will supervise field personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, manage on-site safety, and strive for high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong supervision skills and installation experience related to building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security systems.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and find solutions.
• Self-starter who can work effectively without supervision.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinates installation plans and procedures with project team.
• Supervises technicians and subcontractors on site.
• Ensures quality installation in accordance with codes and company standards.
• Provides technical support and training to customers.
