Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our culture and drive projects within budget and schedule while ensuring cash flow and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate activities across a dynamic team, translate customer needs into implementation plans, manage procurement, establish milestones, and maintain rigorous records. A valid driver's license and 5–7 years of PM experience are preferred.

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security).
• Initiative and proactive behavior to identify opportunities and solutions.
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adaptability and presentation skills.
• Coaching, mentoring and leadership orientation; act as a role model.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Solid team leadership and facilitation skills.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate aspects for small to medium projects from award through completion of project.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet requirements.
• Effectively communicate project requirements to project team and maintain up-to-date records of status and materials.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, services for timely and cost-effective completion within budget.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• May perform limited managerial responsibilities and oversee subcontractor selection.
