Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup, certification, and training on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will manage scope, budget, and schedules with the project team to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers.

You will supervise field specialists and subcontractors, coordinate with the Project Coordinator, and ensure adherence to codes and company standards while growing within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 5-7 relevant.
• Experience in building automation, fire alarm & life safety, and/or electronic security systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management to ensure on-time completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinates with the Project Coordinator to prepare project installation plans and procedures.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field; mentors and develops staff.
• Directs on-site activities and ensures quality assurance standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, and services systems including fire, security, and building automation.
