Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, startup, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will work with the project team to ensure execution within scope, budget, and time schedules, while delivering world-class service to customers and communities.

The role involves overseeing field staff, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring QA across installations.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong field supervision skills and installation experience.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude; read blueprints and drawings.
• Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of projects for successful and timely completion within budget and contract scope.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and on-site activities; ensures QA standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, and services security, fire alarm, life safety, and/or building automation systems.
• Collaborates with Project Coordinator to optimize project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Travels as required; ensures compliance with codes and company standards.
