Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and timelines, while working with the project team.

Expect strong field supervision responsibilities, coordinating subcontractors, and mentoring colleagues. Travel to sites is required, and you will ensure customer satisfaction and growth with Convergint.

Qualifications

• Strong field supervision and installation experience in building automation or security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and understand electrical/mechanical concepts.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for successful, on-time project completion within budget.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator to plan installation and procedures.
• Supervise installers and subcontractors, mentoring and directing work.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with codes and standards.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service fire, life safety, and building automation systems.
