Job summary

Airwallex is expanding its SME & Growth team in the US, selling a fintech platform that helps ecommerce, SaaS and professional services businesses with cross-border payments, spend management, and global billing. You’ll own the end-to-end sales cycle from discovery to onboarding, translating complex fintech into clear business value.

The role emphasizes building expertise, outbound prospecting, and cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, and strategy teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle fintech sales experience or proven success selling into finance departments.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment.
• Experience selling to ecommerce, SaaS or subscription businesses, spend management or finance teams, or other technology-enabled or professional services businesses.
• Consistent pipeline generation and outbound prospecting.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and sales enablement tools.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, close, onboarding, and early customer success.
• Build deep expertise across payments acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, and spend management to help SME and Growth customers solve complex financial challenges.
• Drive revenue growth by positioning Airwallex’s financial technology suite around clear customer and business value.
• Partner with legal, finance, strategy, and technology partners to move opportunities forward and support strong customer outcomes.
• Improve the sales motion by developing new verticals, documenting best practices, representing Airwallex at relevant industry events, and setting a high standard through strong performance and teamwork.
