Job summary

Verizon Communications seeks a motivated sales professional for a mobile, field-based role focused on growing new business and expanding existing accounts. You will identify challenges, tailor technology solutions, and drive revenue through consultative selling.

The role emphasizes prospecting, relationship-building with decision makers, and leveraging Cloud/Security/ISP/VoIP and Google platforms to deliver value. Travel up to ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory (up to ~50%).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify leads within territory to drive sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and social selling.
• Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
• Educate customers while leveraging innovative business solutions.
• Build relationships with key decision makers.
• Present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
• Understand and sell software solutions including Cloud, Security, VoIP and Google platforms.
• Track progress through CRM tools.
• Drive sales and manage relationships for 1–19 employee accounts.
