Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Technician to travel to customer sites within the service area to diagnose, repair, and replace kiosks, PCs, vending machines, and networking gear. Work with the Service Desk to handle incidents and document work orders.

You will travel, perform hands-on repairs, and participate in ongoing training while supporting inmate phone systems and related equipment.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information effectively to groups of managers and clients.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, repair and replace kiosks, PCs, vending machines, networking equipment and other IT gear in correctional facilities.
• Coordinate with Service Desk for incident handling and remote support.
• Maintain and update Work Orders with travel time, notes, and resolutions.
• Travel to customer locations within the service area using provided company car.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and training as needed.
