KioCafe is seeking a Field Installation & Technical Support Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support self-service payment systems and kiosks at customer sites across the United States. When not traveling, you will provide remote and in-office support to customers and teams.

The role requires hands-on technical work, strong problem-solving, and a willingness to travel 70-90% of the time, with experience in POS, kiosks, and payment technologies.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of technical support, field service, or installation experience.
• Experience interacting directly with customers in a technical support role.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide with 70-90% travel.

Aufgaben

• Field Installation & Support: Travel to customer locations to install, configure, and deploy payment and self-service solutions. Conduct pre-installation preparation, staging, testing, and validation.
• Install and troubleshoot hardware components, payment devices, kiosks, networking equipment, and peripheral devices.
• Conduct onsite system testing and verify proper operation before project completion.
• Train customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• Follow installation standards and project documentation requirements; maintain safety at all times.
• Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 and 2 support via phone, email, remote access tools, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and payment-related issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and customer interactions accurately.
• Escalate complex issues when needed and coordinate with engineering or product teams.
• Assist with product rollouts, pilot programs, and evaluations.
