Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Technician to travel to customer locations and repair proprietary equipment in jail facilities. You will diagnose and service kiosks, PCs, vending hardware, and networking gear, with remote support from the Service Desk as needed.

A company car is provided for site visits, and staging of parts may occur at local facilities. The role requires an AA degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication with customers and Service Desk, regional staff, and peers.
• Diagnose, test, repair and replace kiosks, pc's, vending machines, networking equipment, and other IT equipment located in jails and prisons.
• Work with Service Desk on preventative maintenance and walkthroughs.
• Use provided company car to travel to customer locations within service area.
• Update Work Order (WO) with travel time, notes on work performed and WO resolution.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and components and our product offerings evolve.
• Travel into Saint Louis as needed for hands-on training with equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
