Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Technician to travel to customer sites within the service area and repair proprietary equipment including networking components, kiosks, vending machines, and related IT gear.

The role involves working with the Service Desk and regional staff to diagnose and fix issues, with occasional training in Saint Louis. Applicants should have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and proven ability to diagnose and repair complex

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and geometry/trigonometry.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, repair and replace kiosks, PCs, vending machines, networking equipment, and other IT equipment at correctional facilities.
• Coordinate with Service Desk on preventative maintenance and walkthroughs.
• Travel to customer locations within the service area using company vehicle.
• Update Work Order module with travel time, notes, and resolutions.
• Learn new equipment as product offerings evolve.
• Occasionally travel to Saint Louis for hands-on training.
