Job summary

ZEISS Group in South Carolina is seeking a Field Support Engineer II to install, repair, and upgrade Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation in a designated field service territory. With at least 3 years in electronics/optics, you perform preventative maintenance, coordinate visits, and maintain inventory while promoting service agreements and delivering top-tier customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics or Medical Field Service.
BS in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology preferred.
A+ and Net+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair designated products within the service territory with appropriate training and guidelines.
Schedule, verify, and modify customer visits based on needs and impact to patients.
Submit field service reports daily according to procedures.
Submit weekly expense reports per policies.
Maintain spare parts inventory and return parts as required.
Promote and retain service agreements to support revenue growth.
Interface with customers professionally and calmly.
Instruct customers on operation and maintenance; assist with trade shows as needed.
