Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to join our technical team in Cleveland, OH. You will install, repair, and maintain Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation in a defined field service territory, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and professional conduct.

In this role, you’ll diagnose and repair designated products, schedule visits, submit daily field service reports, manage spare parts, and support service agreements to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics or Medical Field Service.
• BS in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology preferred.
• A+ and Net+ certification preferred.
• Ability to travel across the US and internationally for training, service calls, and exhibits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair designated products within an assigned service territory, including maintenance and upgrades.
• Schedule and verify customer visits, assessing needs and potential impact on the practice and patients.
• Submit daily field service reports and weekly expense reports according to policy.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and support tools; handle calibration and repair of equipment as required.
• Promote and support service agreements to drive revenue growth; interact professionally with customers.
