Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Support Engineer II to install, repair, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation within a designated field service territory. The role involves customer-facing service, handling company property, and coordinating visits with customers in the SC region.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics, or Medical Field Service, with a BS preferred and certifications such as A+/Net+.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics or Medical Field Service.
• BS in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology preferred.
• A+ and Net+ certification preferred.
• Strong communication and self-direction; ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair designated products within an assigned service territory, including preventive maintenance, installations and upgrades.
• Schedule and verify customer visits, assessing needs and potential financial impact.
• Submit field service and expense reports per company policy.
