Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network and technology infrastructure at customer sites. You will work with routers, switches, wireless devices, and related hardware, often coordinating with remote NOC engineers and project teams.

This full‑time role includes a company vehicle, gas card, and paid training. A 40‑hour guaranteed workweek is provided, with overtime opportunities and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Field service or IT/telecommunications experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; Covid-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, relocate, rack, stack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, cellular gateways, SD‑WAN equipment, servers, circuits, telephony and other network‑based hardware.
• Perform equipment installation and replacement of equipment from various manufacturers and technology platforms, including circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Perform equipment cutovers and migrations with remote engineers, NOCs, and customer resources.
• Document circuits, circuit IDs, demarcation points, and network equipment.
