Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network and technology infrastructure at customer sites. You will work with remote engineers and customer teams to complete installations and resolve issues, with a focus on hands-on hardware, cabling, and testing.

The role includes a company vehicle, training, and opportunities for overtime. A strong technical background and willingness to learn are encouraged for this field-based position.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• Certifications in networking or cabling are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, relocate, rack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for network hardware.
• Perform physical installation and replacement of equipment across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity using test equipment and documentation.
• Conduct site surveys/audits documenting infrastructure and power availability.
• Coordinate with remote engineers and customer teams to complete tasks.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and safety equipment; lift up to 50 lbs.
