Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and Smart Hands support for network and technology infrastructure at customer locations. You will work with a wide variety of network, communications, computing, and low-voltage infrastructure, coordinating with remote NOCs and customer teams to complete installations and resolve issues.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role with a company vehicle and training.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in IT or equivalent
• Prior field service, IT, networking, telecom, or structured cabling experience preferred
• Willingness to travel and lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver’s license
• Covid vaccination as required by site policies

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, relocate, rack, stack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for routers, switches, APs, firewalls, gateways, SD-WAN, servers, and other network hardware.
• Perform physical installation and replacement of equipment across multiple platforms, including structured cabling and fixed wireless.
• Troubleshoot, document, and coordinate with remote engineers/NOCs for configurations and escalations.
• Conduct site surveys and document infrastructure, power availability, cabling, and installation requirements.
• Complete all deliverables on time, including tickets, checklists, and survey data.
