Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain network and technology infrastructure at customer sites. This role supports voice/data networks, servers, and retail technology while coordinating with NOCs and customer teams.

Primary duties include installation, cabling, equipment replacement, and hands-on field work with travel to various sites. A company vehicle and paid training are provided, with after-hours and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience with networking hardware, cabling, and IT infrastructure is preferred.
• Ability to travel and work at customer sites; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, relocate, rack, and provide Smart Hands support for routers, switches, WAPs, firewalls, and servers.
• Perform physical installation and replacement of equipment across diverse platforms.
• Troubleshoot circuits, cabling, and connectivity using test equipment and documentation.
• Complete site surveys, audits, and documentation of infrastructure and power availability.
• Coordinate with remote engineers, NOCs, and customer teams to resolve issues.
