Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure at customer locations. You will work with routers, switches, APs, firewalls, and servers, often coordinating with remote NOCs and engineers.

This full-time role includes a company vehicle, training, and potential overtime. We value hands-on technicians with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to travel to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA networking, Cisco, cabling, or VoIP certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willing to travel as needed to meet customer SLAs.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and service routers, switches, wireless APs, firewalls, and servers.
• Perform cable installations and testing, including structured cabling.
• Document circuits, equipment, and test results.
• Coordinate with remote engineers and NOCs to resolve issues.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools.
