Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable and technically capable Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and Smart Hands support for network and technology infrastructure at customer locations.

This full-time role includes a company vehicle, gas card, inventory, and training. Prior field service or IT experience is preferred, but strong technical background and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• Certifications in networking/telecom are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Networking, Cisco).
• Selected candidates will attend hardware and cabling training at our facility.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, relocate, rack, stack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for network gear.
• Perform physical installation and cable routing across varied platforms.
• Troubleshoot circuits and cabling with test equipment and conduct site surveys.
• Document circuits, equipment, and installation sites as required.
• Maintain company vehicle, inventory, tools, and safety equipment.
