Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure at customer locations across the market area.

The role requires a technical background, willingness to travel, and the ability to work with remote teams. A company vehicle, gas card, and paid training are provided as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Field service experience preferred in IT, networking or telecom.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work after hours if needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, relocate and provide Smart Hands support for routers, switches, wireless APs, firewalls and servers.
• Perform cable installations, testing and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Document circuits, equipment and cabling; coordinate with remote engineers and NOCs.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and safety equipment; assist with site surveys.
