Job summary

Acuative is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install and maintain voice and data networks, servers, and related hardware at customer locations. You will work with remote NOCs, engineers, and customer teams to resolve issues and complete installations.

This full-time role includes a company vehicle, gas card, training, and paid time. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and travel as needed, with occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA networking, Cisco, Cabling, BICSII, Satellite, PBX or VoIP certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to attend hardware and cabling training courses as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, rack, mount, and provide Smart Hands support for network hardware.
• Perform physical installation and cable routing across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot connectivity using test equipment and document results.
• Conduct site surveys, assess power, cabling, and installation needs.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and safety equipment.
• Travel to customer sites and coordinate with remote engineers and NOCs.
