Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site to serve as a key liaison with customers, supporting order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and inventory management. The role involves deployments to client sites nationwide and travel requiring flexibility for months-long assignments.

When not deployed, work from the nearest Graybar branch with standard hours; deployments may demand 40–70 hours per week and overtime. Per diem, mileage, and overtime are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience; 4+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Counter sales and customer service skills required.
• Warehouse/material handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sell Graybar goods and services to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate handling of orders, pricing, billing, and order maintenance.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties and deliver orders.
• Update product knowledge through training and self-study.
• Train new or less experienced representatives.
