Job summary

Graybar seeks a Service Representative Off-Site to act as a key contact for customers, ensuring total satisfaction. You will travel to deployment sites and support client needs, including inventory management in temporary facilities.

This role involves both branch work and on-site deployments, with extended hours and potential weeks away from home based on client requirements. Strong customer service, logistics and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience; 4+ preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Counter sales and customer service skills required; warehouse material handler skills expected.
• Physically capable to receive, pick, pack, ship and move materials up to 70 pounds.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts while following safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services; fulfill customer merchandise requirements and suggest selections.
• Coordinate prompt handling of customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing and order maintenance.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties; evaluate inventory levels and balance merchandise supply.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties; operate a light vehicle to deliver orders and meet customer expectations.
• Update product knowledge through training and self-study; train new or less experienced representatives.
