Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site to act as a key customer liaison and support inventory and shipments across client sites. The role involves deploying to client locations nationwide and managing on-site Conex box inventories, with travel up to multi-week deployments.

Responsibilities include selling goods, handling orders and billing, maintaining shipping and inventory, and training junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in counter sales or customer service; 4+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services; fill customer merchandise requirements.
• Coordinate handling of customer service requests including orders, pricing, expediting, billing.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties; monitor inventory levels.
• May perform delivery duties; operate a light van and ensure on-time delivery.
• Update product knowledge through training and self-study; train new representatives.
