Job summary

Graybar seeks a Service Representative Off-Site to support customers as a key liaison, handling orders, pricing, billing, and delivery coordination. This role travels to client sites nationwide and deploys from nearby Graybar branches, with hours varying by client needs.

Responsibilities include inventory management, shipping/receiving, and training less experienced staff. A strong background in counter sales and warehouse operations is required, with a 4-year degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience required; 4+ years experience preferred (warehouse/customer service)
• Required counter sales skills/customer service skills and warehouse material handler skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate warehouse equipment safely

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling company goods and services to meet customer needs
• Coordinate handling of customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing
• Perform shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance; manage inventory levels
• May perform delivery driver duties using a light van; ensure on-time deliveries to meet expectations
• Train new or less experienced representatives
