Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site to serve as a primary customer liaison and ensure total satisfaction. You will deploy to client sites nationwide, manage on-site inventory in a Conex box, and may perform delivery duties as needed.

When not deployed, you’ll work from a Graybar branch with standard hours. Deployments can require 40–70 hours weekly and occasional overtime, with per diem and mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience; 4+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Counter sales and warehouse material handler skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Ability to travel and stay for several months at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling company goods and services and assist customers at the counter.
• Coordinate handling of customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance.
• Perform shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance duties and manage inventory levels.
• May perform delivery driver duties when needed and ensure timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Keep product knowledge up-to-date through training and self-study.
• Train new or less experienced representatives.
